Monday afternoon ceremonies planned for Violet Hill veterans

The Perry Historic Preservation Commission has erected four military figures near the Veterans Memorial on the east side of Eighth Street in Violet Hill Cemetery.

A Memorial Day ceremony in Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, May 30.

VFW Post 2060 Commander Nathan Hoffman will lead the ceremony at the Veterans Memorial in the east section of the cemetery.
