A motorcyclist died Sunday afteroon near the intersection of South Old Highway 6 and Bear Creek Road south of Redfield.
The Dallas County Sheriff’s office is investigating the incident, which began when a caller reported seeing a lifeless body in a cornfield near the intersection about 3:30 p.m.
Emergency personnel responded and found the motorcyclist unresponsive.
The identity of the victim and the circumstances of the one-vehicle accident have not been released.
Also responding to the incident were the Redfield First Responders, Dexter First Responders and Dallas County EMS.
