The front entryway of the DMACC Perry VanKirk Career Academy was recently upgraded with a photo collage.
The vibrant collage features photos of students from the VanKirk Academy as well as inspiring quotes from community heroes and figures throughout history.
“The purpose of the photo collage is to make the DMACC Perry VanKirk Center more welcoming and to help our students feel connected and valued,” said Eddie Diaz, DMACC Perry VanKirk Career Academy site director and Career Advantage coordinator.
The collage was designed by Amini Ali, a graphic designer in the DMACC Marketing and Public Relations office. It was inspired by a similar collage at the DMACC Carroll Campus Student Center.
To public is welcome to view the collage at the DMACC Perry VanKirk Career Academy at 1011 Second St. in downtown Perry.
