A new filing deadline of March 20, 2020, at 5 p.m. was announced Thursday for people wanting to be on the Nov. 3, 2020, ballot for the following non-partisan offices:
- Soil and Water Conservation Districts Candidates: 25 signatures required on a petition
- County Hospital Board: 50 signatures required on a petition
- Linn Township Trustee: No petition required
Aug. 26, 2020, at 5 p.m. is still the filing deadline for people wanting to be on the Nov. 3, 2020 ballot for the non-partisan office of:
- County Agricultural Extension: 25 signatures from voters residing within the extension district required on petition
