MASON CITY, Iowa — Nearly 700 students were honored Friday at the North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) graduation ceremonies for the 2020-2021 academic year, including two Perry-area scholars:
- Brianna Rose Powers of Adel, a mid-year graduate
- McKinley Alyse Thompson of Perry
Founded in 1918 as the Mason City Junior College, NIACC was the first public two-year college in Iowa.
