A car and a pickup truck were traveling southbound on Nile Kinnick Drive S. in Adel about noon Thursday when they collided, and the truck entered the west ditch and the car the east.
No injuries were reported in the incident, which is under investigation at this hour by officers of the Adel Police Department.
The truck appeared to sustain driver’s side damage, and the passenger car was appeared damaged on the passenger side.
The accident occurred south of Timberview Drive in southern Adel.
The driver of the passenger vehicle was issued a citation, according to law enforcement radio traffic.
The Adel First Responders, Adel Volunteer Fire Department and Dallas County EMS also responded.
