  • An officer assisted a lost motorist.

April 6, 2017

  • An officer received a complaint about someone dumping his camping trailer holding tank into the city sewer. The officer and the Ogden Sewer Superintendent checked the area and could not find where anything had been dumped.
  • An officer investigated a two-vehicle accident involving minor injuries at S.W. Fifth and Mulberry streets. Makayla Carlson, 22, of Ogden was stopped at stop sign in the eastbound lane of Mulberry Street and when she pulled away, her 1999 Honda was struck by a 2004 Chrysler that was northbound on S.W. Fifth Street and driven by Zachary McCloud, 18, of Ogden. Damage to the McCloud vehicle was estimated at $2,500, and damage to the Carlson vehicle was estimated at $3,000. Carlson was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way.
  • An officer assisted someone locked out of a vehicle.
  • An officer investigated a two-vehicle accident in the parking lot of a local gas station. There was less than $1,500 in damage, so no state report was filed.

April 7, 2017

  • Curt Erickson, owner of a local car wash, reported that someone hit both doors of his north bay after she finished washing her car, causing about $1,500 in damage.
  • An officer assisted a Boone County Deputy Sheriff with a traffic stop at 130th Street and H Avenue.
  • An officer spoke with a resident about cleaning up junk from a property.
  • An officer advised the Ogden Street Superintendent about a stop sign that was knocked down at S.W. Fourth and Mulberry streets.

April 8, 2017

  • An officer assisted someone locked out of a vehicle.
  • An Ogden officer and a Boone County Deputy Sheriff provided traffic control for a funeral leaving a local funeral home and going to the Pilot Mound Cemetery.
  • An employee of a local gas station reported that a vehicle was parked in the middle of the drive and left unattended for about four hours. The officer had the vehicle towed.

April 9, 2017

  • An officer assisted someone locked out of a vehicle.
  • An employee of a local gas station reported a vehicle was parked in their parking lot for three hours. The officer was able to make contact with the owner of the vehicle, and she moved the vehicle.
  • An officer assisted the Ogden First Responders and the Boone County EMS.
  • An officer received a complaint about juveniles shooting a BB gun. The officer advised the children to stop shooting the gun and not shoot in town in the future.
