August 26, 2019

  • An officer assisted a landlord with a vehicle that was abandoned on a property.
  • An officer assisted a motorist whose truck stalled in the middle of the road.
  • An officer assisted the Ogden Fire Department with a fire alarm at the Ogden High School. This was determined to be a faulty detector.

August 27, 2019

  • Russ Stevens, 501 W. Division St., reported someone stole about 10 gallons of gas from his pickup truck while it was parked outside of his residence last Saturday evening.

August 28, 2019

  • An officer was called to ACCURA Healthcare to speak with a male resident who was harassing another male resident.
  • An officer caught a golden retriever running loose. The officer put the dog back into the fenced backyard of residence.
  • An officer assisted Ogden First Responders and the Boone County Ambulance at an Ogden residence.
  • An Ogden resident called in about a sick raccoon in his backyard. The raccoon was dispatched and disposed of by an officer.
  • An officer received several reports of a phone scam. The scam caller claimed to be from the IRS and said the victim’s Social Security number was suspended and directed the victim to call in to get this taken care of.
  • A Boone County Deputy received a complaint from an Ogden resident who said she was being harassed via the telephone.

August 29, 2019

  • An officer received a complaint of obscene words painted on a garden shed at 619 W. Maple St., #1. The officer stopped by to speak with resident, but nobody was home.

August 30, 2019

  • An officer removed debris from the road on the eastbound on ramp to U.S. Highway 30.
  • An officer investigated a possible restraining-order violation.
  • An officer assisted the Ogden Fire Department with a car fire in the 1500 block of G Avenue.

August 31, 2019

  • A Boone County Deputy assisted someone with a child welfare matter at 822 N. First St.

September 1, 2019

  • An officer recovered lost property in the 300 block of E. Maple Street.
  • An officer received a complaint on a possible intoxicated driver on U.S. Highway 30. The driver was okay.
  • An officer responded to an intrusion alarm at 229 W. Locust St. It was a false alarm.
  • An officer spoke to a subject at 526 N.E. Second St. regarding abandoned property.
  • A Boone County Deputy investigated suspicious activity at 526 S.E. Second St.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
