December 12, 2016

  • An Ogden resident said she came home to find her door to the house standing open. The officer accompanied the owner through the house and found nothing missing or out of place.

December 13, 2016

  • An officer assisted someone with a possible electrical problem in their house.
  • An officer assisted someone locked out of a car.
  • An officer assisted Ogden First Responders at 822 N. First St.
  • An officer assisted a Boone County Deputy Sheriff with a car accident in the 1100 block of 216th Street.

December 14, 2016

  • An officer received a report of a possible intoxicated driver eastbound on 220th Street from D Avenue. The officer stopped the vehicle in the 600 block of 220th Street and found the driver was not intoxicated.

December 15, 2016

  • A Boone County Secondary Road employee reported an attempted burglary at the maintenance shed at 119 W. Locust St.
  • An officer assisted a stranded motorist.
  • An officer received a complaint of harassment that took place in Boone. The officer referred the subject to Boone Police Department.
  • An officer received a complaint of a reckless driver eastbound on 220th Street from D Avenue. The officer was unable to locate the vehicle.

December 16, 2016

  • An officer received a report of juveniles being threatened by another juvenile at Ogden High School. The officer spoke with the Ogden High School principal and the mother of juvenile supposedly doing the threatening.
  • An officer received a report of a suspicious male in 200 block of N.E. Third Street. The male was waiting to pick up a child from the bus.
  • An officer received a report of two adults yelling at a child in a car in the parking lot of Casey’s in Ogden. The parents were upset with their child, who had run across the parking lot without looking for cars.

December 17, 2016

  • An officer received a complaint of a possible intoxicated driver northbound on First Street. The officer stopped the vehicle in the 100 block of E. Elm Street and found the driver was not intoxicated but was sick and heading for home.
  • An officer received a report of someone at an Ogden residence wanting to visit his son. The man is divorced from the mother of the boy, and she did not want him there, so the officer advised the man to leave.
  • An officer responded to a domestic situation at 420 N.E. Third St. The man left the residence for the evening. There were no charges filed.

December 18, 2016

  • An officer assisted a Boone County Deputy Sheriff with a two-vehicle accident at L Avenue and 220th Street.
  • An officer assisted a stranded motorist at 220th Street and 222nd Drive.
  • An officer observed someone peeking in a window of a residence in the 500 block of W. Division Street. Th peeking person was a friend of the resident who was locked out of the house.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
