February 5, 2018

  • Lewis Stahl reported the theft of several items from his residence at 531 E. Walnut St.
  • James Hiebert reported someone using his business information fraudulently.
  • An officer assisted someone locked out of vehicle.
  • A Casey’s General Store employee reported that a white vehicle left westbound on Veterans Drive without paying for $53 in gasoline. An officer was unable to locate the vehicle.

February 6, 2018

  • An officer received a report of a male juvenile being harassed by another male juvenile by text. The officer spoke with the mother of the offending party and advised her to have the son stop or charges would be filed.
  • An officer received a report of a teenage female being harassed by another female juvenile. The officer spoke with the mother of the offending female and advised her to have the daughter stop or charges would be filed.

February 7, 2018

  • An officer received a citizen’s complaint of bags of trash sitting along the road in front of an Ogden residence. The officer spoke with the resident, and he will get the bags picked up and make contact with the sanitation service to get service reinstated.
  • The manager of Casey’s called and asked for assistance in locating the owner of a vehicle that has been parked in front of the store for several hours.
  • Lewis Stahl reported more items he discovered missing from his residence.

February 8, 2018

  • An officer assisted a stranded motorist in 600 block of S. First Street.
  • A Boone County Deputy responded to a reported call of harassment at 232 S.W. Sixth St.,  Building 2, #1. This was determined to be a civil issue.

February 9, 2018

  • An officer received a complaint of a reckless driver.
  • An officer assisted a stranded motorist in the 100 blk of S.W. Fourth Street.
  • An officer assisted a citizen with transportation.
  • An officer assisted the Iowa Department of Human Services in locating someone.

February 10, 2018

  • An officer investigated property vandalism complaint in the 500 block of W. Sycamore Street.
  • A Boone County Deputy investigated a single-vehicle accident at the intersection of N.E. Third and E. Sycamore streets.
  • Deputies investigated a domestic dispute at 313 S.W. Seventh St. Heather Winterfeld was arrested for alleged simple domestic assault.

February 11, 2018

  • An officer did a civil standby at 313 S.W. Seventh St.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
