Two cars collided on Iowa highway 141 at 10th Street early Friday afternoon, sending at least one person to the nearby Dallas County Hospital.
The crash occurred about 12:30 p.m.in the 1900 block of Iowa Highway 141.
Both vehicles came to rest on the north shoulder of the westbound lanes of Iowa Highway 141, where their impact leveled the stop sign.
One vehicle sustained very extensive front-end damage, and the other vehicle sustained very extensive passenger-side damage.
The crash is under investigation at this hour by the Perry Police Department. The Perry First Responders, Perry Volunteer Fire Department and Dallas County EMS also responded.
An employee of the Perry Waters Works came upon the scene and alerted the public safety agencies.
