COLFAX — Four Panther boys and three Panther girls ran Thursday at the Colfax-Mingo Invitational for Panorama.
Colfax-Mingo (32), Newton (42) and Baxter (67) claimed the top three spots in the girls team race, with North Mahaska (44), Newton (58), and Colfax-Mingo (100) leading the boys standings.
Senior Payton Beckman crossed eighth for the Panther girls in 23 minutes, 9 seconds, with fellow senior Leah Fett 27th in 25:28 and sophomore Avery Bahrenfuss 54th in 29:49.
The Panorama boys finished 63-68-76-107, with Landon Goodenberger (22:45), Ryan McCarthy (22:51), Avery Norman (23:22), and Laine Christe (27:03) making the circuit for the Panthers.
Elie Tuhn of Baxter and Alyssa Shannon of Newton were the top two girls finishers after crossing in 20:49 and 21:55, respectively. Treycen Garton (17:09) of Newton and Braeden Brough (17:48) of Grandview Christian were 1-2 in the boys competition.
