Panther boys golf shoots past Bombers

A total of seven harriers competed for Panorama at the Colfax-Mingo Invite Thursday.

PANORA — Lake Panorama National served as host for an 18-hole non-conference dual between visiting Ballard and host Panorama.

The home squad lifted their head-to-head record to 19-1 on the season after posting a combined score of 345. Ballard turned in cards totaling 403 strokes.

Kolby Shackelford led the Panthers with a 77, with Wyatt Appleseth shooting an 83 while Lucas Leiferman had a 92 and Ryan Klinge a 93.

Kade Mileer (97) and Spencer Catus, Tomas Lopez and Alex Bangs (all 102) scored for the guests.

The threat of inclement weather has moved today’s Hal Rossow Invitational to Monday, with the Panthers to host the WCAC meet Wednesday.
