Panther netters drop WCC road tilt to Ogden

OGDEN — Tuesday’s West Central Conference volleyball match started well for Panorama, as the Panthers posted a 25-19 in the opening set. Unfortunately for the guests, Ogden rallied for a 25-9 win in the second set, then scored wins of 25-14 and 25-13 to claim a 3-1 victory.

Brooke Halterman had six kills for Panorama, with Faith Powell and Hope Wilderman three each while Nicole Rolfes had two kills and Morgan Johnk and Hannnah Woodworth one each. Kennedy Kuta and Adrienne Powell distributed eight assists apiece, with Halterman tallying one dig.

Faith Powell’s 10 digs were a team high, with Olivia Richey and Woodworth each making eight digs while Rolfes had seven. Adrienne Powell finished with six digs and Kennedy Kuta with four while Halterman tallied three digs and Johnk one.

Adrienne Powell was 10-of-11 serving with an ace, with Kuta 8-10-1, Richey 6-7-1 and Rolfes 5-9-1. Woodworth finished 10-of-10 behind the line, with Faith Powell 8-of-10 and Halterman 2-of-2.

Kim Christensen had eight kills for the Bulldogs, with both Kylie Nichols and Courtney Paulson having seven kills while Kami Wheelock passed out 26 assists.

Christensen served 14-16-5, Nichols 15-18-4, Paulson 15-18-3 and Wheelock 10-of-12 to pace the hosts.

Panorama is in action tonight at the Perry Invitational. They will begin play against the host Jayettes at 4:30 in the varsity gym.
