PCSD to honor 44 teachers, staffers for service Wednesday

Forty-four teachers and staffers in the Perry Community School District will be recognized Wednesday afternoon for reaching career milestones in service to the children of the Perry area in a 3 p.m. ceremony in the Perry Performing Arts Center.

The ceremony will also feature the presentation of the annual Otley Masonic Lodge 99 Excellence in Education Award and the Perry Rotary Club Teacher of the Year Award.

Honored for reaching their five-year milestones will be Shaylena Bell, Joy Berg, Lyndsey Buhrman, Natalie Eastman, Jacob Enderton, Mark Eppert, Ashley Fricke, Alyse Garcia, Jessica Harstad, Brienna Hayes, Megan Maylum, Denise Mitchell, Randy Peterson, Stacey Pfau, Hannah Pierce, Scott Pierce, Devin Schroeder, Jordan Siler, Amy Skinner and Brittany Whiton.

Thanked for 10 years of service to the district will be Brennan Cleveland, Kristie Davis, Michelle Hager, Teresa Kresse, Corey Myers and Lena Pavlica.

Achieving the 15-year mark will be Sarah Bryan, Luz Angelica Diaz-Cardenas, Andrew Hoyt, Sarah Iben, Kimberly Taylor and Carla Wood.

Celebrated for two decades in the PCSD will be Carrie Fellom, Robert Hidlebaugh, Dawn Higgins, Lori Meinecke, Cynthia Miner, Melissa Raskie, Becky Reuter and Roxanne Whitmore.

Twenty-five year employees to be thanked Wednesday are Theresa Bronnenberg, Klista Meis, Diane Munoz and Lisa Schumacher.
