Thursday’s Perry Farmers Market will feature free apples while the supply lasts.
The free fruit is made available through a grant from the Iowa Department of Public Health, the Dallas County Department of Public Health and Telligen, the West Des Moines-based health care quality improvement organization.
The Perry Public Library will distribute the fruit onsite at the Perry Farmers Market in the Josh Davis Memorial Plaza in downtown Perry.
The Perry Farmers Market is a Perry Chamber of Commerce event.
