Perry girls golf hosts ADM, Ogden

The Perry Golf and Country Club was the site Thursday for a girls golf triangular, with host Perry welcoming ADM and Ogden for nine holes.

ADM finished with a combined 213 to win the meet, with Ogden finishing at 226 and Perry at 240.

Perry senior Delaney Eiteman led all players with a medalist card of 50. She was joined in scoring for the Jayettes by MaryLou Ledesma (60), Bryce Eastman (65) and Jayna Kenney (65). Ainsley Marburger and Macy Kilmer each shot rounds of 67, but they were not used for the team total.

Liv Rickert and Adi Atkins of ADM both shot 51, with the former winning a tiebreaker for runner-up medalist honors. Mikayla Klein had a 55 and Monica Thomas a 56 for the Tigers, with Anna West (60) and Emma Mellencamp (62) also playing for ADM.

Ogden was led by Shaylie Johannsen’s 52, with Libby Stonehocker adding a 55, Emalee Walker a 58 and Faith Mohr a 61. Emma Blair’s 68 was not used for the Bulldog total.

Perry (ADM as well) returns to action Monday at the Raccoon River Conference tournament in Winterset. Tee time is 9 a.m.
