A Perry man was arrested Monday after allegedly punching his wife in the face Saturday.
Harry Junior Blosch, 51, of 419 Willis Ave., Perry, charged with first-offense domestic abuse assault-bodily injury or mental illness.
The alleged assault took occurred about 6:30 p.m. Saturday, when officers of the Perry Police Department responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 400 block of Willis Avenue and found the female victim standing “outside, holding a frozen bag of peas to her right eye,” according to court records.
The victim said Blosch “struck her in the face with a closed fist after an argument about finances.”
Blosch left the residence prior to the officers’ arrival Saturday. Investigation by police led to his arrest Monday.
Blosch was held in the Dallas County Jail prior to posting a $1,000 cash or surety bond. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Aug. 6 in Dallas County District Court.
