A Perry man was arrested Friday and charged with rape.
Jacob Kenneth Morgan, 24, of 1807 Fifth St., Perry, was charged with third-degree sexual abuse-forcible rape.
The circumstances leading to Morgan’s arrest have not been released by the Perry Police Department.
The victim is believed to be a juvenile female, according to sources with knowledge of the alleged crime.
Morgan is held in the Dallas County Jail on a $25,000 cash-only bond. He is scheduled to appear Aug. 24 in Dallas County District Court.
