- A 2014 Honda Accord, registered to Meylin Soriano of 1702 W. Fifth St., Perry, and driven by Erick Soriano, 33, of 1702 W. Fifth St., Perry, collided with a traffic signal in the 1300 block of Iowa Highway 141. Soriano was transported to the Dallas County Hospital with injuries. Damages were estimated at $16,500. Soriano was issued a citation for failure to maintain control and reckless driving. A citation for speeding is pending the investigation.
- The Perry Police Department received a report of criminal mischief in the 1300 block of Estella Street.
- The Perry Police Department received a report of fraud in the 900 block of Willis Avenue. The victim’s Social Security was used by someone other than the victim. The case is under investigation.
