Aug. 20, 2021
- Officers received a report of internet fraud in the 300 block of Lucinda Street. The loss was estimated at $1,400.
- Damien Nish Beard, 18, of 1816 Willis Ave., Perry, was arrested on a charge of two counts of controlled substance distribution to person under 18.
- Anthony James Johnson Parnell, 24, of 1306 11th St., Perry, was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for violation of a court order on an original charge dissemination and exhibition of obscene material to minors.

- A 2014 Nissan Altima, registered to Nelly Yesenia Whitver of 2939 Kading Road, Perry, and driven by Kathryn Berneil Whitver of 303 N. 15th St., Adel, collieded with a legally parked 2016 Dodge Charger, registered to Alesha Marie McCarty and Ronald Perry Sikora of 1760 440th St., Linn Grove, Iowa, and driven by Omar Gonzalo Jaimes-Mayorga of 2801 First Ave., Perry. No injuries were reported. Minor damage to both vehicles was reported. Whitver was issued a citation for failure to provide liability insurance-accident related.

- Officers located two vehicles with broken windows in the 1700 block of Vine Street. The case is under investigation.
- Officers received a report of a theft of a billfold from a vehicle in the 1900 block of W. Second Street. The case is under investigation.
