December 16, 2022
- A 2020 Nissan Altima, registered to and driven by Jerry Lee Perkins of 1606 Iowa St., Perry, collided with a 2008 Ford Edge, registered to Mark Harold Schmidt of 293 Prairie Meadow Dr., Blue Grass, Iowa, and driven by Blaine Joseph Schmidt of 2300 S.E. Seventh Lane, Grimes. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $9,000. Perkins was issued a citation for failure to obey stop sign and yield right of way.
- Junior Rano, 26, of 3307 McKinley St., Perry, was arrested on charges of public intoxication and fifth-degree criminal mischief.

- Ashlee Nichole Adams, 35, of 2576 20th St., Van Meter, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, harassment of a public official and public intoxication.
