  • A patrolling office of the Perry Police Department “transported a male” found walking along Willis Avenue “to his place of employment.”
  • A caller said “the neighboring house is vacant,” and “the real estate agent had someone come and clear the snow.” The caller said “when whoever was hired did that, they tore through her yard and took out her sump pump pipe.” The caller said “she called the real estate agent, who offered no assistance.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said she learned that “her ex” had “his driver’s license suspended in November for non-payment of child support.” The caller said “he drives in town” in a vehicle “registered to his wife,” and “he comes up to get the kids, and his parents live in Perry.” The caller was advised “to call when she knows he is coming to pick up the kids.”
  • An officer of the Perry Police Department served two no-trespass orders.
  • A caller said he “wanted to warn people that too much snow would make the car roof collapse.” The caller “did not need any other type of assistance.”
  • A caller said a vehicle “is parked in her driveway,” and “she can’t get through.” An officer responded and found the vehicle blocking the driveway had already been moved.
  • A caller reported seeing a motorist with two small children, “and the children had no car seats.” An officer was advised.
  • A caller said “she lost her house keys.” The caller said she made contact with locksmiths in Des Moines, “but either they couldn’t because it was too far away, or it was too much money for” the caller. An officer responded and made contact with the property owner, who “drove from Waukee and found a spare key for” the caller.
  • A caller said her dog was lost.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
