January 12, 2018

  • Kaleb Austin Wright, 24, 214 S. First St., Panora, was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • A caller requested a welfare check on someone who missed an appointment. An officer responded and made contact with the missing man, who “was fine.”
  • A caller said her boyfriend was “intoxicated” and “they’ve been arguing.” The caller said the boyfriend “threw a beer can at her and tried to push her.” An officer responded and learned the boyfriend “got a ride somewhere else for the night.” The caller “was given a Crisis Intervention card.”

January 13, 2018

  • Officers of the Perry Police Department provided a funeral escort.
  • A woman entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and said someone “has been to” her mother’s “room and stolen so many thing.” The woman said the person “doesn’t only go to her mom’s room but other tenant’s rooms as well” and “has taken things from them, too.” An officer responded and said the woman “would have to attempt to get a civil no-contact order through an attorney and the courts” and “that it might be possible to get a no-trespass order issued.”
  • A caller said “her 17-year-old son has not come home since last night.” An officer responded and learned the caller was missing two sons. The caller later called again and said her sons were home.
  • A caller said “the front wheel of her tricycle is missing.” An officer responded.
  • Dusty Lee Crannell, 36, 308 Birch Ave., Woodward, was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for probation violation.
  • A caller requested an ambulance for someone “who intentionally overdosed on pills.” The Perry First Responders and the Dallas County EMS were aged.

January 14, 2018

  • Tyler James Fenton, 25, 1823 Second St., Perry, was arrested on charges of third-offense possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, carrying weapons and interference with official acts.
  • Andy Alexis Ortiz, 20, 2508 Perry Park Ave., #405, Perry, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication.
  • A caller said a dog was running at large. An officer responded but could not catch the dog. The owner eventually arrived and took the dog into custody.
  • A caller said “her boyfriend has been threatened by messages” from “someone wanting money” and “saying they will kill his family.” An officer responded.
  • A caller “reported his son missing.” An officer responded, and a “missing-person report was taken.” The missing son’s sister later brought him to the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave., and his “entry was cleared from the system.”
  • A caller said he caught a dog running at large. An officer responded and transported the animal to the Perry Animal Holding Facility.
  • A caller reported “a black animal that looked like his coyote by his patio.” An officer responded but did not find the animal.
  • Officers of the Perry Police Department issued 17 citations for snow ordinance violations.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
