December 31, 2016

  • A man entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. with “a pink wallet and a purple planner” he found on the street. An officer responded and made contact with the owner of the items, who retrieved them.
  • A caller said a dog was running at large. An officer responded but did not find the dog.
  • A man entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave.  and said his girlfriend “left him, taking the keys to the residence and his vehicle with her.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said several items “were stolen from her unlocked vehicle sometime overnight.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said “the people who live behind him are having a party tonight.” The caller said “he doesn’t get along with the neighbor” and was “concerned there could be problems.” An officer responded.

January 1, 2017

  • A caller said “there are fireworks going off around her residence.” Officers responded, and the “fireworks were confiscated and logged into evidence.”
  • A caller said “there is loud music coming from the above apartment.” An officer responded and asked the neighbors “to turn down the music. They agreed to do so.”
  • Tanisha May Dillinger, 35, 623 Fifth St., Perry, was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension.
  • A caller said “someone just hit a vehicle by his residence and took off.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said “her adult brother just got home from a party and was very intoxicated.” The caller said the brother “in the living room playing music loud and being violent.” Officers responded and made contact with the brother, who “agreed to go to bed and stay in his room for the night.”
  • A caller said “her ex is supposed to bring the kids home tonight, but he said he will not be doing that.” An officer responded and advised the caller to make contact with her attorney.
  • A caller “said an older boy grabbed a younger one by the neck into the house.” An officer responded and made contact with the boys, who said “they were rough playing, but everything is okay.”
  • A caller from Boone County said “she was having problems with her significant other.” The caller said “she is leaving for the night, and he is threatening to throw her things outside.” She said “she wants to know what her options were.” The caller was transferred to the Boone County Sheriff’s office.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
