- A 17-year-old male from Perry was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension.
- A caller said someone “has their vehicle, and she needs it for herself and the children.” An officer responded and discussed the situation with the caller, who was “upset.”
- A caller said she was concerned “about a male who has a warrant. She is afraid he is out” and “will kill her.” An officer responded, determined the male is still in custody and informed the caller.
- A man entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. in order “to report harassment against himself and his wife.” An officer responded.
- A caller said her mother “has been ripped off by her neighbor/friend.” The caller “said the friend had stolen her mother’s purse and did return it after she was accused, but it had less money.” An officer responded.
- Steven Samuel Paul Schleicher, 32, 1402 Willis Ave., #2, Perry, was arrested on charges of fifth-degree criminal mischief and obstruction of emergency communications.
- A 17-year-old male was arrested on a charge of sale and possession of marijuana.
- A 15-year-old male from jamaica was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana.
- A caller said she caught a dog running at large. An officer responded and transported the animal to the Perry Animal Holding Facility.
- A caller “reported that her car had been keyed.” An officer responded.
January 26, 2018
- A caller said her 15-year-old foster daughter “snuck out her bedroom window” and was possibly at a boy’s house. An officer responded. The caller later called again, said the daughter returned and asked whether the officer would speak with the daughter. The officer responded.
- A caller said “there was a possible break in to her house.” Officers responded and determined no break in occurred.
*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
