Jan. 9, 2023
- Officers responded to a report of criminal mischief in the 2100 block of First Avenue. A window was shot out with a bb gun. The case is under investigation.
- Alexis Marie Clark, 20, of 6707 Sherrick Ave., Des Moines, was arrested on a Polk County warrant and a Dallas County warrant for probation violations.
- Torry Blake Densen, 38, of 1617 Iowa St., Perry, was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension.
- A 2006 blue BMW 325, registered to Melvin David Villalobos Sandoval of 2015 Estella St., Perry, and driven by Francisco Javier Villalobos Sandoval of 2015 Estella St., Perry, collided with a 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, registered to Linda Marie Whelchel of 1628 Otley Ave., Perry, and driven by Clarissa Eve Miller of 1722 Second St., Perry, at Sixth and Bateman streets. No injuries were reported. Damages were estimated at $4,000. Sandoval was issued a citation for failure to provide proof of financial liability-accident related.

- Chowng Tyng Wong, 28, of 3404 E. 29th St., Des Moines, was arrested on a charge of driving while barred.
- David Ray Linn, 44, of 1718 Fourth St., Perry, was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance, drug tax stamp violation and driving under suspension.
Jan. 11, 2023
- A 2006 Mazda, registered to Edwin Adan Ribas of 1905 Lucinda St., Perry, and driven by Abraham Vazquez Rivas of 1315 11th St., Perry, collided with a 2006 Dodge pickup, registered to Gustavo Robles Garcia of 1612 Evelyn St., Perry, and driven by Alexa Marisol Iglesias Garcia of 1612 Evelyn St., Perry, at 18th and North streets. No injuries were reported. Damages were estimated at $2,400. Rivas was issued a citation for failure to obey stop sign, and Garcia was issued a citation for violation of instruction permit.
