  • A caller said her two dogs were lost. The caller called again and said one dog was found.
  • A caller reported a suspicious vehicle “parked in front of his residence for the last 15 minutes.” The caller said it “appears the male in there is texting.” An officer responded and made contact with the driver, who said “he was on a conference call” and “did not want to drive while on it. All okay.”
  • A woman entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. with a dog she caughter running at large. An officer responded and transported the animal to the Perry Animal Holding Facility.
  • A caller said her dog was lost. The caller called again and said her dog was found.
  • A caller said she “got into a verbal argument with her boyfriend” and now is “concerned he is trying to kill himself.” Officers responded and transported the boyfriend to the Dallas County Hospital “for an evaluation.”
  • A caller said “they have an unwanted guest.” Officers responded, but the guest had already left.
  • A caller said he “received a scam call.”
  • A caller said someone “may be driving while intoxicated.” An officer was advised.
  • A man entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. with a driver’s license he said he found. An officer responded and determined the license owner “is deceased.”
  • A caller requested “a welfare check on her elderly neighbor who had fallen earlier today.” The caller said “the woman refused help from the caller,” and the caller “just wanted to make sure she was okay because she lives alone.” An officer responded.
  • A woman and her mother entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and said “that while her brother was out walking her dog, another individual walked by with their own dog, and both dogs got into a fight.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said “a client” from “a residence his service oversees took off” and “has not returned after getting into an argument with another client.” Officers responded.
  • A caller reported “a vehicle that has been driving by her house for the last 20 minutes.” An officer responded but did not find the suspicious vehicle.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
