  • Angela Marie Jessen, 30, 3404 61st St., Des Moines, was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension.
  • Joseph Allen Cunningham, 30, 4503 83rd St., Urbandale, was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • A caller reported an irratic driver. An officer responded, “located the vehicle and made a traffic stop” after the driver “crossed the fog line three times.” The driver said “she was making a phone call.” The officer “advised her to focus on her driving.”
  • A caller requested a welfare check on his 2-year-old daughter. The caller said “the child had a fever of 104,” and the “mother claims the fever broke, but she is refusing to take the child to a doctor.” An officer resonded and told the told the caller “that officers could respond, but we could not force the mother to take the child to the doctor at this stage.”
  • A man entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and requested “to speak to an officer about an incident involving his vehicle.” Officers responded.
  • A caller said “the street at Seventh and Willis has a large amount of slush on it.” The caller was “concerned once it freezes that cars won’t be able to go over it.” An officer responded and determined the intersection “was not any worse than any of the other intersections in town right now.”
  • A caller requested a welfare check on “her friend” who “had been sick, and she hasn’t heard from him today, and he would typically call and let her know if he was feeling well enough to go on a walk.” An officer responded and made contact with the person, who said “he was okay and that he had his phone turned off.”
  • Dyllon Scott Owen, 26, 40852 160th St., Leland, Iowa, was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension.
  • A woman entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. in order “to discuss parking issues at her apartment complex.” An officer responded.
  • A caller reported a possible “road rage incident.” Officers responded but did not find anyone enraged.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
