  • A caller said her friend “took a bunch of pills and was going to head to the river.” Officers responded, located the unhappy person and “transported her to the Dallas County Hospital.”
  • Jennifer Nicolaisen, 39, 12879 Houston Ave., Perry, was arrested on a charge of fourth-degree theft.
  • A 17-year-old male from Perry was issued a citation for tobacco violation.
  • A caller had questions about “her son’s bow.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said her husband “is not responding to her messages,” and the caller “was concerned about her kids.” An officer responded but did not find the husband.
  • A “supervisor of the DSM control tower” said someone “would attempt to land at the Perry Municipal Airport.” The caller called again and said the “student was flying the opposite way so would try to land at the Guthrie Center Airport.” The caller said that “at the time they called Perry, the aircraft had pinged five miles south of the Guthrie aiport.”
  • A caller from a local retail store said “a juvenile stole something from their store and took off running.” Officers responded.
  • A caller said “he hit a bale of hay on Iowa Highway 141.” An officer responded.
  • Kathleen Specht, 59, 1103 Eighth St. S., Grand Junction, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication.
  • A caller reported someone “walking eastbound on Iowa Highway 141 from Woodward.” The Dallas County Sheriff’s office was notified.
  • A caller said someone “is threatening her boyfriend.” An officer responded.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
