In the aftermath of Monday’s weather, schools in the Perry Community School District as well as St. Patrick’s Catholic School will open two hours later than usual Tuesday, and morning preschool classes have been cancelled.
Other Perry-area school districts planning two-hour delays Tuesday morning include the Adel-De Soto-Minburn Community School District, Boone public and Catholic schools, Earlham Community School District, Greene County Community School District, Madrid Community School District, Ogden Community School District, Panorama Community School District, Paton-Churdan Community School District, Van Meter Community School District, West Central Valley Community School District and Woodward-Granger Community School District, with the Hawk’s Nest Child Care opening at its normal time.
Districts remaining closed Tuesday include the Adair-Casey Community School District, Coon Rapids-Bayard Community School District, Nodaway Valley Community School District.
Schools in the Dallas Center-Grimes Community School District will operate on the normal schedule.
