Among Class 1A schools, Logan-Magnolia will bring three rated individuals, West Marshall two, South Hamilton one and St. Ansgar one.

Class 2A features Perry’s Zach Thompson (sixth at 113 pounds), Gisaveri Niyibizi (10th at 120) and Kade VanKirk (10th at 132) while SB-L has grapplers ranked at 120, 126 and 152.

Only two 3A matmen are rated, with DMN/H grapplers at 120 and 285 receiving recognition.

ThePerryNews.com will have complete coverage of the tournament, the first of three home wrestling tourneys over the next four weeks, as Perry will host the Raccoon River Conference meet Jan. 30 and a 2A Sectional Feb. 6.
