Perry High School students taking courses at the Des Moines Area Community College Perry VanKirk Career Academy are invited to return their textbooks Friday, May 16 from 9 a.m. until noon and from 3-6 p.m.
Course textbooks for online classes may also be dropped off at the table in the automotive shop parking lot on the south side of the DMACC Perry building at Second Street and Otley Avenue.
“DMACC would like to thank all students, families and staff for making the necessary adjustments to finish the college year strongly,” said Eddie Diaz, director of the VanKirk Career Academy. “We hope to see many of you back in the fall.”
Diaz said students should simply drive up to the auto shop parking area and drop off their books. Students are urged to practice safe social distancing.
