GUTHRIE CENTER, Iowa — A 2-year-old girl was killed Wednesday in rural Guthrie County after she was accidentally run over by a pickup truck.
The Guthrie County Sheriff’s office responded to the Guthrie County Hospital about 6 p.m. Wednesday, where deputies talked with a man who said he was backing up his vehicle when it struck the child.
The child died of her injuries at the Guthrie County Hospital.
