A pickup truck pulling a pontoon boat collided with a passenger sedan at Willis Avenue and Iowa Highway 141 Monday morning.
No injuries were reported in the mishap, which occurred about 10:45 a.m. near the 21000 block of eastbound Iowa Highway 141.
The cause of the crash was not immediately apparent.
The sedan sustained front-end damage and came to rest on the north shoulder of the eastbound lanes. The boat flipped and came to rest upside down on the south should and partially blocking the eastbound lanes.
The Perry Police Department, Dallas County Sheriff’s office, Iowa State Patrol, Perry Volunteer Fire Department and Dallas County EMS responded.
