BOONE — The IAHSAA recently released the district and substate brackets for Class 2A baseball, with No. 4 Woodward-Granger and Panorama learning their respective paths.
W-G (26-3) will host the District 12 Semifinals July 11. Des Moines Christian will play the winner of Clarke and Interstate-35 at 5 p.m. with W-G to face either Central Decatur or Mt. Ayr at 7 p.m. The first round games will be played, in Truro, July 8.
The District 12 Final will be played in Granger as well, at 7 p.m. on July 15. The Substate 6 Final is scheduled for 7 p.m. July 18 in Indianola. Centerville and Davis County have first round byes in District 11, with Albia, Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont, Pella Christian and Pleasantville also in the bracket.
Panorama will travel to Manning to take on IKM-Manning in the 7 p.m. game July 8 of the District 15 first round, with AC/GC facing Underwood in the 5 p.m. contest. The IKM-Manning vs. Panorama winner will play host Tri-Center in Neola on July 15 at 7 p.m. WCV awaits the AC/GC vs. Underwood winner for the first game on the 11th.
The District 15 Final is in Neola on July 15 at 7 p.m. Treynor and Clarinda have byes in District 16, with AHSTW, Missouri Valley, Red Oak and Shenandoah also in the bracket. The Substate 8 Final will be July 18 at 7 p.m. at Lewis Central.
