Electrical power was interrupted in Rippey about 1 p.m. Friday afternoon while an Alliant Energy work crew performed maintenance on the grid, according to an Alliant statement.
Electricity is expected to be restored about 3 p.m. after workers complete their task.
About 145 energy consumers in Rippey are without power, the energy company said.
