Race season starts Saturday at the Dallas County Speedway at 28057 Fairground Road in Adel.
Visitors will enjoy dirt track racing, including figure 8 and circle track races.
Food concessions and beer will be available for every race, and some nights will feature live music.
The season’s schedule:
- Saturday, April 8, 5 p.m. (track and weather permitting)
- Sunday, April 23, 1 p.m.
- Saturday, May 6, 6:30 p.m. (also Enduro racing)
- Saturday, May 20, 6:30 p.m.
- Saturday, June 10, 6:30 p.m. (also Enduro racing)
- Saturday, July 1, 6:30 p.m.
- Saturday, July 15, 7 p.m. (Dallas County Fair race, live music following)
- Saturday, Aug. 12, 6 p.m. (Adel Sweet Corn Festival)
