Local law enforcement officials from the Dallas County Sheriff’s office, Iowa State Patrol, Woodward Police Department and the Perry Police Department conducted a joint traffic safety project Aug. 24.
The goal of the project was to enforce all traffic safety laws, with a special emphasis on impaired-driving enforcement.
No impaired drivers were intercepted, but six citations were issued for underage possession of alcohol, and seven were issued for speeding.
