Rose Anna Lehrkamp, 41, of Scranton was arrested Tuesday on charges of assault causing bodily injury and first-degree burglary.

A Scranton woman was arrested Tuesday after she allegedly tried to force her way into a residence in Linden and injured an occupant.

Rose Anna Lehrkamp, 41, of 1104 Eagle St., Scranton, was charged with assault causing bodily injury or mental illness and first-degree burglary.

The incident began about 4:45 p.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of Main Street in Linden, where Dallas County Deputy Sheriffs responded to a report of an assault.

The deputies made contact with the victim, who said that Lehrkamp attempted to enter the victim’s residence “by forcing her way through the front door,” according to court records.

The victim told the deputies that she directed Lehrkamp “to leave several times, and she refused” and instead “pulled the front door of the residence, trapping” the victim’s “right arm in the door, causing a minor laceration, redness and pain,” according to court records.

Lehrkamp is held in the Dallas County Jail on a $25,000 cash or surety bond. She is scheduled for a preliminary hearing July 18 in Dallas County District Court.
