A semi-tractor trailer slipped and rolled off the gravel roadway on 200th Street just east of County Road P46 (D Avenue) about 5 miles south of Dawson Friday morning.

The Dawson Volunteer Fire Department, Dallas County Deputy Sheriff’s office, Dallas County EMS and Perry Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene about 10:30 a.m.

The solo driver complained of sore ribs as emergency responders sought to extricate him from the crumpled cab of the overturned vehicle. His condition at this hour is unknown.

Saturation of the granular roadway appeared to be a factor in the mishap, which is under investigation.
