A semi-tractor trailer with an oversized load blocked the 1200 block of eastbound Iowa Highway 141 abut 7 p.m. Thursday.
Local law enforcement officers responded to the situation, which apparently involved a bottomed-out load or a similar mishap.
Eastbound traffic on Iowa Highway 141 was detoured around the stalled vehicle and through the shopping center parking lot until about 8:30 p.m., when the roadway was reopened.
