A six-toed tuxedo cat was caught running at large in the 1900 block of Fifth Street Sunday night, and a kindly householder took the cat in and fed him before officers of the Perry Police Department transported the stray to the Perry Animal Control Facility.

City records indicate the repeat offender was last in custody Jan. 17.

“I caught him before and the owners claimed him at the pound,” the householder told ThePerryNews.com. “He meows constantly! He has not been fixed. He’s a black-and-white tuxedo with extra toes and an all-white leg and very verbal and friendly.”

To claim this cat, call the Perry Animal Control Facility at 515-443-0015 during regular business hours.
