DES MOINES, Iowa — The LifeServe Blood Center is ready for a spooky blood drive this month.
“Ve vant your blood!” a LifeServe spokesperson said.
Scared? Don’t be. LifeServe Blood Center’s team of professional vampires will draw your blood and make sure it’s tested and sent to local hospitals to aid local patients in their recovery from injury and illness.
So starve a vampire this Halloween season. Donate blood to a local hospital patient instead. Schedule an appointment to donate at one of these upcoming blood drives in Dallas County:
- Redfield Community Blood Drive, Tuesday, Oct. 22 3:30-7 p.m. at the Redfield American Legion Post, 1116 Thomas St.
- Woodward Community Blood Drive, Saturday, Oct. 26 from 9-11:30 at the Woodward United Methodist Church, 108 W. Fifth St.
Schedule a blood donation appointment online or call 800-287-4903.
