A one-mile stretch of 180th Street between Pioneer and Quinlan avenues in north-central Dallas County reopened Tuesday after spring flooding forced a closure of more than four months on the granular-surface road.
The roadway was closed March 14.
As maintenance maps indicate, the Dallas County Secondary Roads Department has worked steadily since early spring to rehabilitate many miles of water-damaged gravel roads across the county.
