The light rain brough out the vibrant colors of the twin Mustangs at the third annual Cruise into Bouton car show Saturday.

Light rain meant lowered hoods on most of the 50-some classic vehicles entered in Saturday’s third annual Cruise into Bouton car show fundraiser for the Crisis Intervention and Advocacy Center.

But the drizzle did not dampen the spirits of the crowd in its taste for food and drinks at the Rusty Sprocket Tavern and live music provided by the Unforgiven band.

Registration for vehicles in the car show was $15, and a tasty lunch was available for $6 in the Bouton Community Center. All proceeds support the Crisis Intervention and Advocacy Center, with Dallas County offices in Perry and Adel as well as Adair, Adams, Clarke, Decatur, Guthrie, Madison, Ringgold, Taylor and Union counties.

Crisis Intervention and Advocacy Center serves victims and survivors of domestic abuse, sexual assault and homelessness. They can be reached 24 hours a day at 1-800-400-4884. Their services, including housing assistance and addiction support, are free and anonymous.
