Thirteen deaths, 288 new COVID-19 cases reported Sunday

DES MOINES, Iowa — The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) was notified Sunday of 13 deaths from COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 265. An additional 288 positive cases were reported for a total of 11,959 positive cases, including 676 in Dallas County.

Some 5,154 COVID-19 victims have recovered, giving the state a 43% recovery rate.
