Three students in the Perry Community School District tested positive for SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, Monday Dec. 14, according to PCSD Superintendent Clark Wicks.
Two Perry High School students and one Perry Middle School student tested positive, Wicks said. All students and families in contact with the student and staff member have been notified, he said.
In addition, 13 students will be quarantined.
With seven positive cases current in the district, Wicks said rate of .004 was “very low positivity!”
The SARS-CoV-2 virus has infected 24 students and five staff members since classes began Aug. 19 in the PCSD, according to communications from the PCSD. The list of cases follows.
