Tickets for the Perry High School Drama and Music Departments’ spring production of “Mamma Mia!” go on sale Tuesday, March 23 in the PHS office or by calling 515-465-3503.
The musical will be performed three times: Friday, April 9 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, April 10 at 1 p.m. and again at 7 p.m. in the Perry Performing Arts Center.
The 2008 movie “Mamma Mia!” was based on the Swedish pop group ABBA’s 1975 musical hit and tells the amusing story of a young woman’s search for her birth father. “This sunny and funny tale unfolds on a Greek island paradise,” according to the promotional blurb. “On the eve of her wedding, a daughter’s quest to discover the identity of her father brings three men from her mother’s past back to the island they last visited 20 years ago. A mother. A daughter. Three possible dads. And a trip down the aisle you’ll never forget!”
