All schools in the Perry Community School District and St. Patrick’s have announced a two-hour delay in the start of Tuesday classes due to a wind chill advisory and inclement weather. Morning preschool classes have been cancelled.
Other Perry-area school districts planning two-hour postponements of Tuesday classes include Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center Schools, Adel-De Soto-Minburn Schools, Boone Public and Parochial Schools, Boone Trinity Lutheran School, Coon Rapids-Bayard Schools, Dallas Center-Grimes School, Earlham Schools, Glidden-Ralston Schools, Greene County Community Schools, Guthrie-Center Schools, Johnston Schools, Madrid Schools, Ogden Schools, Panorama Schools, Paton-Churdan Schools, United Community Schools, Urbandale Schools, Van Meter Schools, Waukee Schools, West Central Valley Schools, West Des Moines Schools, Woodward Academy Day School and Woodward-Granger Schools.
